A guide for visiting the zoo
San Diego Zoo is an Education app for people planning a visit to the zoo or finding their way around once they arrive. Its map helps visitors locate animal exhibits and park facilities, while suggested walking routes offer a way to explore without planning every turn. The app is most useful on site, especially for first-time visitors and families deciding what to see.
Plan a route around your interests
You can build a personal itinerary by marking animals and places such as dining or shopping stops. That gives you a simple way to keep track of priorities and shape a route around them. The app can also help you navigate between locations, so you spend less time working out where to go and more time exploring.
What to expect
The focus is practical rather than a broad collection of activities for learning at home. The map, routes and planning tools are geared toward a visit in person. Navigation features may use location services, which can affect battery life during a long day out.
