dēzl™

A phone companion for Garmin truck devices

dēzl™ connects a compatible Garmin navigator or dēzl Edition smartwatch to your phone. It is aimed at professional truck drivers who use Garmin equipment and want selected trip information and device features linked through one app. It is not a standalone navigation app, so its usefulness depends on having compatible Garmin hardware.

Road information and device features

When paired with a Garmin navigator, the app can provide information such as traffic, weather and fuel prices on the device. Drivers with an active PrePass account can also receive weigh-station bypass notifications on supported equipment. The dēzl Edition smartwatch connection adds workout tutorials and travel-plaza reward tracking.

These tools are designed to support a driver’s existing Garmin setup rather than replace it. Check the current Google Play listing and Garmin’s compatibility information to see which features work with your device and account.

Who it suits

The app is most relevant to truck drivers already using a compatible Garmin navigator or smartwatch. If you do not own supported hardware, or are looking for phone-only navigation, dēzl™ may not meet that need. Pairing and connected features also rely on the phone communicating with the Garmin device.
