Weather & Radar - Storm radar is a weather app from WetterOnline for people who want more than a temperature and a simple forecast. Its map brings rain, snow, wind and lightning into view, helping users check where conditions are changing and whether a storm is approaching. It may suit commuters planning a journey as well as people deciding whether to head outdoors.
The radar view is central to the app, with weather information presented as map layers. A 90-minute precipitation forecast is intended for near-term decisions, such as checking whether rain may affect a walk or other outdoor plans. The app also includes weather widgets for viewing selected information from the home screen, and Android Auto support for weather information in compatible vehicles.
Some of its information is aimed at specific activities: the app includes coastal conditions such as waves and tides, along with ski reports. These additions can be useful for users whose plans depend on conditions at the shore or in the mountains. The amount of map and forecast detail may be more than someone needs for a quick check, but the range gives users several ways to follow local weather.
Weather & Radar - Storm radar is listed in the Weather category and is developed by WetterOnline. It has a Google Play rating of 4.69 from about 2.43 million ratings, with more than 100 million installs. Ratings, descriptions and available features can change as the developer updates the app, so consult its live Google Play listing for the current record.
